About Phoenix

AnnieAnnie

I named her Phoenix after my favorite bird of lore. She is my youngest daughter, but she is growing fast! We call her Annie, by her choice.

A Kabbalistic Synopsis

Given the phonetic nature of Hebrew, it would seem that Annie should produce that same kabalistic analysis as Ann. However, with the addition of the English i and e has the effect of multiplying the emotional focus of Annie, who is far more concerned with affairs of the heart than of the soul. In addition, the resulting value lacks the biblical connections found in Ann. If we consider the earth aspect of A, or Aleph, which means "ox," and the connection of N, or Nun, to Scorpio, we find in Annie a strong interest in the hidden aspects of relationships and a love of secrecy. Thus Annie would be an asset in any job requiring confidentiality. You can tell your burning secret to Annie in the knowledge that it will go no further. If Annie is born under Scorpio, this interest in secrets may take on a supernatural twist, while under Taurus it may well become a fascination with the intimacies of relationships. Whatever her star sign, Annie will always be a listener rather than a talker, which gives her sufficient insight to be a good novelist.

Runic Interpretation

Annie is a name bringing the challenges of Ann and the additional lesson of the Ehwaz energy. Annie learns early on that she must work hard to remake herself while kindly but friendly disagreeing with most of the opinions her family holds of her--a process she negotiates with great energy and fortitude. Ehwaz added to the name helps Annie enjoy the fruits of her labors. She takes all this in as a sign of the goodness of God. She has learned to accept herself, and her firm boundaries minimize the impact of negative people in her life.

The Numerological Interpretation

Annie is a name that shows a woman who is sure of herself and her way in life and yet, at the same time, is open to the opinions and feelings of others. This should make her well liked and appreciated. She wants to be an expert in her chosen field, and has all the numbers in her name to indicate that success will come with perserverance.
